When she was young, Vivienne’s first taste of romance came from fairy tales. Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood, among others, inspired stories of her own. Encouraged by a grade school teacher, she began to put her thoughts to paper. First she expressed herself through poetry. But as a teenager, when she discovered a stash of her mother’s paperbacks, she began to write romance… and hasn’t stopped since.

In college, she learned that the surest way to get “the look” from a professor was to come to lit 101 with a romance stacked on top of her books. After that experience and a few others like it, she secreted away her scandalous paperbacks in the dark recesses of her book bag. The literary stories she wrote for class were far different from the ones she kept in notebook after notebook in her desk at home, but not nearly as satisfying

Now the years have passed. She married her high school sweetheart. Together they have two magnificent sons and live in the Midwest. She is blessed with love and support from all the men in her life while she continues to fulfill her lifelong passion.

From contemporary to historical romance, along with occasionally wading in the waters of the paranormal, she loses herself in worlds where anything can happen, but most importantly, where love lasts forever and the girl always finds the boy of her dreams.
